“I feel empty and also like my life is falling apart. I think I’m so hard on myself for even the small things I do wrong unintentionally.” These were the words of Paul*, who struggled with the isolating forces of anxiety, depression and alcohol.

Paul found us through an online ad, which led him to the Why God? Facebook page.

“I have always wanted to go to church by I’ve always been shy and anxious.” We were able to help Paul overcome his anxiety by connecting him with a church, who spoke with him directly via Facebook chat. We also equipped him with online resources that would aid his spirituality, and Paul told us that he would download the Bible app on his phone.

More than 10 months later, Paul got back in touch with us to let us know how he was doing: “I’ve been good actually. Getting there, struggling a bit finding employment at the moment but other than that I’m ok.”

We are thankful that we are able to share Jesus online, and help make a real difference in people’s spiritual, mental and emotional health.
