Abby and Cassandra both wanted to share their personal stories about how Jesus had transformed their lives, but they didn’t know how to or they lacked the courage to do so on public forums like Facebook.

Abby works for yesHEis and was presented with the opportunity to share her testimony through a creative content piece. The yesHEis Australia team filmed her story and featured it in the yesHEis app so that it could be shared by Christians in Australia and New Zealand.

As soon as it was featured in the yesHEis app, Abby shared her testimony video, titled A Fresh Start, on her Facebook wall. This was a bold move for Abby, but it paid off in that her share resulted in 255 views and 10 chats with the “Who Is Jesus?” Facebook Messenger bot. (People engage with the bot when they choose the option to learn more about Jesus after watching a shared video.) Equally as encouraging, Abby’s sharing inspired her friend Cassandra, who is still new to faith, to share the video on her own Facebook wall along with her own personal testimony – all typed out.

Abby and Cassandra both feel empowered to tell people about Jesus more often. Abby had 4 friends private message her about her testimony, and Cassandra’s written testimony also resulted in multiple Facebook conversations with friends. Both Abby and Cassandra feel like God is using their stories to plant seeds and connect others to Him.

Pray for our first-time sharer, Cassandra, who is still new to faith and who may be feeling vulnerable after sharing her testimony for the very first time. Please also pray that Abby’s video will point many more people towards a relationship with Jesus, and that many more Christians would be mobilised to tell people about Jesus using their personal faith stories.
