We have received many amazing testimonies from people whose lives have been transformed through our National Pioneer’s Initiative (NPI) in Eastern Ukraine. Through the NPI, the Church is being raised up to bring relief from suffering and distress in this troubled part of the world.

Sergey* had a lot of problems in his personal life and he was referred to a fortune teller to find answers. On the way to the fortune teller, his scooter died. This happened not far from the place where our pioneers were located. They got acquainted, prayed and Sergey started to attend the church. Some time later, he was baptised.

Natasha* was raised in a common family. Her parents did not spoil her with gentleness, sweet words and hugs. Natasha grew up very shy, not sociable and with a low self-esteem. She said that she had always thought about God, but He seemed to her unreal and distant. One day Natasha heard about the church and, out of pure interest, began to come to their Sunday services. At the beginning nothing much happened to her, but after a while she began to experience God’s touch. Now, she says: “I became much more confident in myself and I really want to be useful to God!”

Some miraculous changes in families are happening right in front of our eyes. In one family, the mother, daughter and son-in-law are all going to the Bible school of Mirnoye village! This is so great! Just one year ago, the mother of the family accepted Jesus into her life. Before that, she didn’t want to hear about God at all. Three months later, her son-in-law also accepted Jesus and they got baptised on the same day. He used to be an alcoholic, but he was redeemed from his addiction. Now, the whole family serves the Lord and the daughter is praising God that her prayers for her family were heard.
