Over the Christmas and New Year period we witnessed several salvations and miracles as a result of God’s Spirit moving through our CV activities in Latin America.
One lady, Roma*, wrote to us to share her decision to repeat one of our prayers to accept Jesus as her Lord and Saviour. Now, she feels she has been given meaning and purpose.
Another lady, whose friend our team had been praying for, contacted us to let us know that the friend had been miraculously healed by God from cancer, leaving the doctors stunned! She thanked us for our prayer support.
We also heard from a CVCLAVOZ listener who decided not to commit suicide after talking with our team about the love of God. She wrote, “Now I want to love God and get to know Him better so that I can learn to love myself.”
These stories, and the countless others that we receive, always encourage us in our work of helping people to experience God through our programs and devotionals. One particular milestone for us in January has been reaching 600 affiliate radio stations within the CVCLAVOZ continental radio network. With each new affiliate comes the opportunity to reach even more people in the Hispanic-speaking world for Christ.

- Venezuela, where the political and social situation has deteriorated so bad that acts of violence are rampant and most people are without hope. Many families have already left the country on foot with just the few possessions they are able to carry.
- Bolivia, where the government is in the process of approving several new laws, including one against evangelism. Preaching the Gospel will now entail a 7-12 year prison sentence, the same penalty given to criminals accused of human trafficking.
