One of God’s Daughters’: Southeast Asia

Here’s the story of a woman we met in Southeast Asia who went through a scary experience involving a loved one which ultimately opened her heart to the Truth:

“I am a Christian now, but I haven’t always been. Buddhism was my early background; something passed down to me. I had planned to pass it on to my sons one day too. I have two.

Christ was a name I was unfamiliar with for a long time until one day, when my neighbour came over and introduced me to a national pioneer. What a lovely Christian woman she was. She was very nice, but it wasn’t kindness that brought me into the Light.

My oldest son was terribly ill that day and had been for a while. We didn’t fully understand the extent of the sickness until he suddenly collapsed; unconscious.

We were all terrified and confused; there was no pulse. It seemed like death had a real grasp on him, but the pioneer walked calmly towards him and prayed over him.

It was a miracle! My son began breathing again! Before I knew it he was up and better than before! I was so grateful to the pioneer that day and wanted to learn more about the Jesus she worshipped. I committed to learning more about Him every single day and over time, built a strong relationship with Jesus Himself. A year later I converted and was baptised and I haven’t looked back since.

Knowing that I am one of God’s daughters has given me so much peace. Praise God always!”
