The following story is from a new believer who met Jesus through the National Pioneers Initiative (NPI) in her community:

My name is Fitri* and I am a teacher in an Islamic school. I come from a long family line of followers of Islam, believing that everybody except genuine Muslims are destined to go to hell.

I am so thankful to God for sending the pioneer and his successors to tell me about Jesus.

My two children and I were baptised recently after being discipled for five days. After accepting Jesus and studying the Gospel, I was filled with a peace I had never felt before.

The Lord has been doing some amazing miracles in our lives. For example, the tumour in my womb was completely healed and the hysterectomy that was supposed to happen was cancelled. My child has also been delivered from demonic influence after studying black magic with a Muslim leader. Seeing these miracles made me more convinced than ever that Jesus is the Way. My best friend and I have been studying the Gospel every day now.

Please pray for my husband, who is a senior government official. Pray that he will make a bold decision to follow Jesus. Pray also for protection for my family, and for strength to share the Good News with others.
