Many people are finding relief from distress through the work of our pioneers, who are building self-sustaining churches in Eastern Ukraine.

Sofia* is 18 years old. She came to one of our pioneer churches two years ago as a young girl with her mother. The church prayed and had numerous conversations with her, but unfortunately she decided not to stay in the church. Her mum was especially eager to see her daughter happy in Christ, so the church started to pray seriously for the young lady at her mother’s request.

Difficult trials came into Sofia’s life. She fell pregnant and was getting ready to be married, but her husband-to-be left her right before their wedding. All plans and dreams were shattered. But may all the glory be to God, for where the plans of a human crumble down, His plans are being restored.

Sofia came back to the church in a heavy depression. She was taken care of and received much support. She talked a lot with the people and eventually repented. In two months, she got baptised and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. Some time later, she met her beloved in Christ.

God has demonstrated His huge love for us again in the story of Sofia. No one but God is able to change a life in such a way. Hallelujah!
