36 saved in Vietnam

Accompanied by six others, one of CV’s newest pioneers in Vietnam visited a Hani man who had undergone rehabilitation through a Christian centre in Vietnam. The pioneers aimed to share the gospel with the Hani people who lived in this man’s village.

The journey to the village, which was nestled in the mountains, was perilous, taking almost two days to reach. A local evangelist played a crucial role in providing translation and guidance throughout the difficult trek.

Upon reaching the man’s house, the team discovered his unwell mother. After they prayed for her, she experienced miraculous healing, which attracted curious neighbours who came requesting prayer as well.

The pioneers shared the gospel and offered to pray for all of the sick. Numerous Hani individuals witnessed healing, and the team spoke of God’s love to the village children.

While sharing the gospel, border police came and intervened due to the large volume of people who were gathering. Through the grace of God, the team came to no harm, however, they were ordered to suspend their activities and leave the village.

Before they left, the CV pioneers saw a total of 36 Hani people embrace Christ, opening their hearts to God’s love.
