A man reached out because he was struggling in his marriage and family relationships. The family didn’t go to church much but, whenever they did, it was to separate locations. After sending a message through a landing page set up by CV Outreach, the man was connected to a CV Outreach church partner, Derek.

Derek initially connected with the man to offer prayer and encouragement. Based on what was shared, it sounded like the couple had been hurt by the church and simply drifted away. Since the man was about 50-60 miles away, Derek connected them with a closer church. The family has now started going to church together again, and the couple’s marriage is steadily improving.

They family has been encouraged by the fact that, even if you drift away, you can always come back because it’s never too late.

Another young man reached out to us and explained that he had left the church because he had been hurt. But, after coming across our Loneliness video, he acknowledged that he needed God back in his life.

The young man lives in Tennessee and he was connected online to our CV Outreach church partner, Chuck, who is in Ohio. The men talked via email for about two weeks. Chuck offered to find a church closer to the man, and he accepted. Chuck was then able to connect the young man with a pastor in his own hometown. He is now actively involved in church.
