Reaching the Unreached : Impact Madagascar

unreached people groups

We had the wonderful privilege of spending time with our National Pioneers in Madagascar this month. As part of CV’s National Pioneer’s Initiative (NPI), these indigenous pioneers are working to build self-sustaining churches amongst unreached people groups in some of the most remote areas of the island, often in extremely challenging circumstances.

We were delighted to visit some of the more than 80 new church groups planted by these pioneers, and found many young Christians eager to grow in faith and share their newfound love for Jesus with others.

We were able to distribute Malagasy Bibles where these were desperately needed, and trained a group of 20 additional evangelists. We were able to send these pioneers back to their areas with Bibles and other evangelism material, and can’t wait to see what God will continue to do on the island of Madagascar through His willing servants.

Please continue to pray for unreached people groups like the Mikea on the island’s south-west coast, who still practice forms of ancestor worship and animism.
