Due to continuing unrest and war, efforts to establish a pioneer program in South Sudan have been delayed. However, CV continues to prayerfully consider the possibility of establishing a presence in the country. With a population of more than 12 million faced with a slew of social and economic challenges, the need to impact the people of this young country with the Gospel continues to grow stronger. Despite the delay in establishing a presence in the country, CV’s 1Africa initiative has already gained significant traction in the region, with many South Sudanese engaging with 1Africa content online – another clear indication of the spiritual hunger of this nation. Please pray with us as we strategize about a possible move into the country in 2017.
