Nastya* wrote to us about her nicotine addiction two months ago. She wanted to quit smoking badly, but never had the self-control to go longer than a few hours without a cigarette. In her email to us, she wrote: “I am beginning to stop believing in my strength and I need help.”

One of our online volunteers talked to Nastya. He told her about the good news of the Gospel and also shared his personal testimony, showing her how God saved him from the captivity of sin. This encouraged Nastya to believe in the power of God that could set her free from her addiction.

Two months after their correspondence, Nastya repented for her sins and wanted to attend a church. We helped her to find a church near her to connect to.

Nastya is still in frequent contact with us and we continuously pray for her healing.
