Emily* was a Hindu looking for prayers for her three-year-old son, Micheal*. Michael has a speech impediment and his mother felt like something was holding him back from speaking and communicating.

When Emily searched for prayers on Google, she found a landing page hosted by CV Outreach. Through this page, she was able to submit her prayer request to a pastor named Jacob*, who was only 14 miles away from her.

Getting in touch with Jacob did not only result in Emily receiving prayer for her son, but the two started to have weekly video calls, in which Jacob prayed with Emily for other things in her life too.

Eventually, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour and now does weekly Bible studies with Jacob to learn and grow as a follower of Jesus.

Although Emily’s husband is still Hindu, in the long term her following Christ will hopefully lead to the salvation of the whole family. This is a powerful example of how reaching out and introducing one person to Christ can transform their lives and possibly save people around them too.
