Mercy for Venezuela

The Lord is good and his mercy endures forever.” 2 Chronicles 7:3

Despite all of the mishaps, we end the month with a heart full of joy and gratitude to God for all that he has done in Venezuela. Another three beautiful churches were opened here this month and we have seen a steady growth of work and committed workers.

Our Venezuelan brothers and sisters are amazed at everything God is doing in these times of crisis and shortage. The building of churches in this time is, for them, a miracle and proof that nothing is impossible with God. They have all shown great gratitude to God and CV.

The 19 churches opened in have been like heaven’s doors, allowing many to enter and receive the Lord Jesus as their saviour. We rejoice in the face of crisis with baptisms in water, the actions of the Holy Spirit, lives restored and miracles. Yes, despite these difficult times, the Church grows and God’s people remain loyal and committed to him.

We continue to ask for prayer, mainly for the Venezuelan gasoline crisis. Gasoline shortages this month have paralysed parts of the county and, whilst these last few days have seen some improvement, the problem remains and affects many. We also ask for prayer for the renewal of our visas, as the process has become increasingly bureaucratic and complicated. We remain confident that God is in control.
