As part of our mission to share the Gospel through media, the team in Africa runs an online platform called 1Africa. This platform is aimed at a young, urban, African audience, and exists to reach people for Christ through video and text pages addressing various issues through the lens of faith.

One of our greatest joys is seeing young people come to faith in Jesus through this platform, and we celebrate these decisions for Christ on a regular basis.

David* is one young man who has been impacted by content on 1Africa. In a conversation with our response team, he confided: “My environment impacted and led me to wrong things, but I now believe that Jesus has taken over my life in totality!” Another is Thato*, who responded: “I thank God for saving my life!” Lethabo* wrote in to our response team: “I accepted Christ as my personal Lord and Saviour and I know that in Him alone I will find rest.”

We continue to celebrate these and other responses, and never want to take for granted what God is doing in Africa!

Please pray for those who have recently come to faith in Jesus. Pray that they will become rooted in strong churches that will be able to care for them and help them grow in their faith.

Pray also for writers who contribute to our 1Africa platform. Pray that God will give them wisdom and insight, and that the Holy Spirit will guide them in the topics that they choose to address. Also pray that the seed will fall in fertile ground!
