Intent, Wisdom, Grace

Christian Vision (CV) equips and resources churches and ministries with a range of training, and knowledge to further the success of the Great Commission.

In recent months, we have presented our resources in multiple events throughout the Africa and Middle East (AFME), and Asia Pacific (AP) regions.

Here’s some of the highlights from ‘The Charisma of an Evangelist’, ‘Christian Creators Conference’, and ‘Faithful Witness of the Gospel’.

The Charisma of an Evangelist – AFRICA

Nick Parker, CV’s Global Partnerships Manager, was invited by the Baptist World Alliance to participate in a webinar titled ‘The Charisma of an Evangelist’ as part of their evangelism month. During this event, Nick addressed the topic of ‘Evangelistic Preaching in a Technological Age’, sharing the virtual stage with speakers Sammy Tippit and Kwame Adzam. The webinar was a huge success, with participants attending from 46 countries.

The event explored the concept of God’s calling in evangelism. While evangelism is a responsibility shared by the entire church, certain individuals possess a special calling to this ministry. These evangelists, as depicted in the scriptures (Philip in Acts 21:8, Timothy in 2 Timothy 4:5), are dedicated to sharing the good news.

The webinar aimed to equip these uniquely called individuals to effectively communicate the gospel of Christ in a technologically advanced world.

Nick’s session focused on the intersection of evangelistic preaching and technological advancements. He used CV’s ‘Why Digital?’ training course as the framework for his discussion, explaining why ministries should pursue digital evangelism strategies.

As a result of this webinar, the Nigerian Baptist Convention has reached out to CV for resources and assistance with training in digital evangelism.

Christian Creators Conference – INDONESIA

CV’s Indonesia team had the incredible opportunity to attend the ‘Christian Creators Conference’ hosted by The Digital Ministry, an organisation devoted to digital ministry workers. At this event, CV shared insights and resources among Christian content creators from various areas in Indonesia.

The team delivered a session on digital mission awareness and what it means to implement AI for evangelism and content creation. They highlighted innovative ways that technology can be leveraged to share the gospel to both large and vast audiences, and concise targeted audiences.

130 content creators attended this event, each participating in discussions about the mission impact of Christian content online.

Faithful Witness of the Gospel – PHILIPPINES

Community Bible Study International (CBSI) invited CV’s team from the Philippines to speak about becoming a faithful witness of the gospel.

Using insights from the Barna’s ‘The Open Generation’ report and case studies from yesHEis, they emphasised the importance of equipping and motivating young Christians to ‘plant seeds’ and share the gospel.

The presentation outlined three practical steps derived from scripture in Colossians 4:2-6.

Pray with intent
Walk in wisdom
Speak with grace

The CV Philippines team led successful workshops on ‘how to create effective social media content using digital tools’, and ‘the importance of leveraging digital platforms to build and nurture online communities’.

CV serves and equips evangelists in their online ministry pursuits. Whether through free online resources, curated content, or in-person training, our goal is to bridge the digital divide and place impactful tools directly into the hands of those championing the gospel.

These events were a huge success with many ministries and Christian leaders expressing interest in partnering with CV and utilising the free digital assets in CV Training and CV Resources.
