It has been said that the COVID-19 pandemic has not been a good ‘leveller’. Many around the world have been forced into some form of lockdown and many people have found their finances negatively impacted. However, it is the people who live hand-to-mouth and the low income earners who have been hardest hit.
Recently, a Nigerian resident contacted the CV Africa Community team with a prayer request. She explained she’d been self-employed and was now unable to earn an income due to lockdown restrictions.
So we prayed for this lady and then connected her with the Fellowship of Evangelical Students who were able to assist by financial contribution.
We are so grateful for the opportunity that comes from having people reaching out to us, and for the partnerships that allow us to connect these people with others who can provide practical help. Thank you Jesus!
Please pray for Africa and those hardest hit across the globe. Pray also for the right connections to be made so that practical help and solutions can be found. And finally, please pray that the Church community will rise up in this time, and provide hope and relief to those around them.
