Learning how different teams operate and innovate can help us to be better and brighter. Our CV North America team recently experienced this firsthand when our manager organised for us to work through the principles in the book, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team – A Leadership Fable, by Patrick Lencioni. Lencioni details the five dysfunctions that can cause teams to struggle and offers actionable steps to overcome these.
After working through the book together, team members reported that they learnt so much and now feel more empowered to embrace change and growth. The new tools and approaches we learnt have increased trust, connection, accountability and productivity!
As a result, we feel more empowered to both own and grow in our respective areas of expertise. And not just individually. Now, we are more prepared and motivated to work as one unified North America team.
We are better equipped than ever to touch lives with the Gospel and help people from all walks of life to know Jesus.
