Fani* is a teenage girl with a Christian background, who lives in Pontianak. She comes from a broken family and has a difficult relationship with her father. She contacted our yesHEis team to ask what to do.

The responder encouraged her with this thought: “God can restore you as long as you can forgive the people around you and ask the power of God to be able to forgive.”

Fani agreed and, in time, began to realise that she was no longer constantly lamenting her imperfect family condition. She began to understand the salvation that God gave to her, and to share it with lost souls. She wants to take action to forgive.

In other news, we recently held the 2nd workshop titled OMG Filmmaking Masterclass. There were 30 participants from 16 churches in 5 different cities across Indonesia. The sessions were conducted by top professional trainers, and participants were challenged to collaboratively make a short film production within 24 hours.

Praise God, we had good response from the Masterclass. We are further connecting with participants by creating online groups based on the cities they come from. We hope this will be the beginning of an active film community, located across Indonesia, that we can partner with to produce modern Christian media designed to reach many for Christ.
