Jun* is a young adult who developed an avoidant personality when she was in high school. Life has long been tiresome to her, and connection with people and society makes her feel distressed. After graduating from college, she stayed at home all the time, not willing to find a job in the outside world.

In May, CV China launched a Gospel video on one of China’s major social media sites, Weibo. The video tells the story of a girl suffering from depression, who felt no love and acceptance and decided to commit suicide. The moment before she was about to jump off a building, she suddenly saw the words God loves you, which stopped her from jumping. Her life was saved by God’s unconditional love.

Jun saw this video, and contacted us after watching it. We told her that the hope of life comes from Jesus and only He can fill our emptiness. We also shared with her some yesHEis Gospel videos to help direct her toward the truth.

With our help and friendship, Jun decided to follow Jesus in prayer and she is very willing to read the Bible. Her depression still sometimes troubles her heart, but she has begun to share with us the real feelings that are hidden inside of her. We often get together and pray for her.
