Salvations and Miracles in the Midst of Crisis: Impact Venezuela

“If my people, who are called by my name, humble themselves and pray and seek me and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sins, and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

We rejoice at all times with the promises of God and His grace poured out on our lives and on the church in Venezuela. Despite so many things, the mighty hand of the Lord is continually upon His people to bless them.

We believe that we are living a time of restitution, where God is putting everything back into place, and we believe that one of the things God is restoring is the dependence of the Church on Him. But, we believe there is no restitution without repentance. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

We are doing what is possible to keep the workers and the church alive, and believing that God will accomplish His purposes.

The month of April was very beneficial. We held several activities inside and outside the churches: evangelistic activities such as football tournaments, where we had the participation of 150 young people who could also hear God’s word. We also gave lectures to the communities about drugs, early pregnancy and domestic violence. We saw God acting tremendously, through salvation, baptisms, cures and miracles.

In one community where we are initiating evangelistic work and violence is extreme, there was a conflict, some deaths, and some young people were being sought to be executed. Last week, two of them asked a lady in the church to visit and tell them about Jesus. She went, and the two young people gave their lives to Christ. At that same time, five more armed youth arrived and they also gave their lives to Christ. Then came the wives of two of them who were estranged from the Lord, and they also were reconciled.

They can not go to church as they are in hiding, but we have a church couple who are willing to disciple them. We believe that God will transform this place and His name will be glorified there.

We continue to ask for prayer for Venezuela. Presidential elections are scheduled for next month and there are already rumours of protests and demonstrations. Let us pray that God will have mercy on this nation.
