We received a few testimonies from new believers in Southeast Asia. These people are meeting Christ through the work the Lord is doing in areas where our National Pioneers are stationed. We are continuously encouraged by these pioneers and their dedication in preaching the Gospel. You can read the testimonies below:
“Praise the Lord! For the first time in my life I heard some verses about Jesus quoted from the Gospels by a National Pioneer. I was shocked because I believed the Gospels were corrupted and that Jesus was only a prophet, whereas this national pioneer said that Jesus was the Key to the Kingdom of God. I was intrigued, so came to visit the National Pioneer privately. After hearing his testimony of why he accepted Jesus as the Way and the Truth of God, and receiving more teaching, I also accepted Jesus. Together with my wife and two children, we were baptised in a hotel swimming pool on 28 January 2017. Now we are being discipled routinely to minister to our community. “Praise the Lord for his goodness, power and love for us. For 39 years I have felt concerned about my fate. I have feared evil and death, felt inadequate with low self-esteem and I did not love my wife and children. Despite following all the rituals of Islam faithfully, I had no peace in my heart and no hope that my religion could save me. One day I shared my story with a national pioneer. He smiled and shared a verse about Jesus ‘ perfect birth, life and death and that the reason we have no peace is that sin separates us from God. The pioneer then challenged me to accept the only mediator between God and man, Christ Jesus. It amazed me that the Jesus I had hated all my life was able to bring peace to my distressed heart. After receiving Jesus my life was transformed from fear into love, peace and joy. Seeing my total life change, my wife also accepted Jesus. We were baptised in a pool behind the mosque.
