Hope and Adoption : One Hope Project

We have an incredible story of celebration to share with everyone this month! This story begins back in 2015. A family of four children; three sisters and one brother, were brought to a rehabilitation center. Sadly, their mother was too caught up in drugs to care for them properly. Through our One Hope orphan project, the children were connected with mentors who could invest in them. These children were given the opportunity to share their thoughts and feelings with adults that would listen and care.

One of the boys, Artur*, dreamed of becoming a cook and attending different master classes with his mentor. The girls learned nice manners from their mentors and how to take care of themselves. Over time, all of the children learned about God’s real design for families. The mentors gave the children the encouragement and support they needed and prayed with them every evening for adoptive parents.

In God’s perfect timing, a final decision was made in March this year that these siblings would all be adopted! The girls could not believe it and kept asking whether it was all a dream. It’s an incredible journey, seeing how these mentors make such a huge impact in the lives of their mentees.

The best news is, despite the children moving on with a new family, their mentors will continue their support and friendship with the kids for many years, while also helping more children.
