The National Pioneers Initiative (NPI) empowers indigenous pioneers to build self-sustaining churches by raising up local successors and handing over leadership to them.

In East Indonesia, we are working to impact the Papuan nation for Christ. This is what Pak Gad, an NPI Partner, recently said of the program:

“As a Papuan and senior government official, I am committed to helping my people. When I was invited to the NPI Summit in June 2016, I was amazed to see what the Lord is doing in East Timor. My dream is that He will do something similar in Papua!

During the summit, the Lord changed me by first doing a work in my heart. Since then I have been sharing the NPI vision to Impact Papua for Christ with my fellow Christian leaders. Praise God my daughter, Robina, is the first Papuan National Pioneer and she has already prepared two successors through her ministry with street children!”
