God Returns Presumed Dead Son: Impact Eastern Ukraine

I lost everything. I had nothing and no one. My only son disappeared and later I was told that he died when a missile hit his room in Lugansk. This news made me devastated. I started to seek comfort in alcohol, hoping to numb the pain, but I couldn’t escape my sorrow.

One day, I met the ministers from my local church, who were NPI pioneers. I felt welcomed by them and could sense God’s presence while we talked. I kept coming to see them over and over again because I wanted the peace I felt in their presence in my life. Eventually, I realised I had to accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour and start to attend church myself.

I felt some changes immediately after I repented. God kept me close. My faith was growing every single day. I prayed for my family and one day I remember suddenly feeling very convinced: “God, I believe that my son is alive!” A few days later I realised that this thought had come from God and He wanted to show me the truth. I saw my son, who was indeed alive! I was overjoyed and realized that there is absolutely nothing impossible for God.

With God’s help, I was able to restore and reorganise my life. Everything began to change. God restored my place in the community. I got baptised. Now I can help others who are in need, even financially. My heart was changed and now I always feel God’s presence in me.

Please pray for people who are heartbroken around the world, that they would invite Jesus into their lives and let Him heal their wounds.
