We received a letter from a 29 year old girl named Suyin*, who had serious kidney stones and needed surgery. She was very scared and had no idea what to do, and hoped that we would pray for her. Our yesHEis team were able to help her find relief from fear and access the help she needed.

We got in touch with Suyin and learnt that her hometown was in the countryside of Guangdong province. She came to Guangzhou for a job but had to quit the latest job because she found out about her sickness. She had read the Bible before, but didn’t know how to believe God.

We showed her a gospel video produced by yesHEis. Through this video, we were able to explain how sin separates people from God but, because God loves everyone, he gave his only son Jesus Christ to save us from death.

Suyin was very touched by this message, and thanked us for constantly praying for her. She confessed that she is a sinner, and is willing to accept Jesus Christ as her saviour. She now knows that there is one true God who loves her, and her life is in the hands of God. Instead of fear, Suyin now has peace in her heart.

Suyin has had her condition treated in the hospital in her hometown and is now resting at home. We will introduce her to a local church after her 3-month recovery.

Please pray that Suyin recovers completely from her illness, and that God strengthens her faith.
