Our China team received a message from a girl named Lanying*. She asked, “What if I believe in God, but God is false? Does God really exist?”

We told Lanying, “If anyone wants to completely believe God’s existence, there is only one way: to experience Him yourself. For example, if someone tells you that a piece of cake is delicious, how can you believe it? There is only one way: taste and see! When you encounter God in your daily life, you get your own experience with Him and His truth becomes real to you.”

We also told Lanying that we can know God through reading the Bible, attending church, and praying to God in spirit and truth. To pray is to talk with God about our doubt and ask Him to show us that He is true and reliable. God is a living and true God, He will guide us to find Him. As the Bible says: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7)

Lanying was very thankful to receive our reply. Although she has many doubts, she is willing to seek God.
