Coming Home to God: Impact Myanmar

||

If you come back to God, He’s always there to forgive, welcome and embrace you with His Love, even when His children have ignored and forgotten Him.

When she was younger, Mrs. Cho* was a Christian and worked as a minister in a church. But she grew far from God after she married an unbeliever and moved to Mandalay, where she worked as a headmaster at a state school.

At 72 years of age, Mrs Cho was retired from work and had become unwell. She began to search again for God. One of the NPI pioneers lives close by to the place where Mrs. Cho lives with her family, and her daughter came to the pioneer to ask him to pray for her mother. Mrs. Cho also had a desire to pray. So, the pioneer went to her house, showed her love, told her about the love of God, sang some songs and shared about our great God who can do anything. He told her also that if we confess what we have done, He is faithful and just to forgive all of our sins and accept as we are.

The pioneer said he could see and feel that Mrs Cho was so pleased and happy. As she had heard the Gospel, she turned back to God and found peace and assurance. She knew for sure she was with the Lord.

Two weeks later, Mrs Cho passed away. Before she died, she told her daughter to bury her in the Christian manner. The pioneer helped to arrange a Christian funeral service, as Mrs Cho wanted.

Please pray that the NPI pioneers in Myanmar would continue to be effective in their mission to reach their nation for Christ.
