Co-workers in God’s Harvest : Ukraine

Lena* wrote to us after watching one of our videos. She shared with us that she ‘d always been searching for God. She said: “I knew that He existed, but I didn’t make a big deal of it. I ‘ve always had questions that I wasn’t able to answer, and I have been looking everywhere for those answers.”

Our online volunteer started a conversation with Lena, discussing simple truths about God. We helped her to find the answers she was searching for and gave advice on how she can get to know God better.

Some time later, Lena replied: “I visited a Christian church for the first time in my life. I had mixed feelings. I am trying to figure some things out. I am very grateful for your support and understanding. It’s very important for me now.”

One year has passed since Lena first wrote us. This is what she told us in her latest letter: “On July 1st I got baptised which meant a lot to me. I am thrilled and thankful to God for drawing me close to Himself and ripping me out from the world. I am a happy member of the church now. I am living for the Lord and it’s very important to me. I appreciate all your support and help. May God bless you!”

It is so amazing that our support, though it may be a little, is such an important grain in the sand of God’s brilliant masterpiece! We are co-workers with Him.

“What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.” (1 Cor. 3:5-9)

Please pray for peace in Ukraine.
