With more than 33 million people, Uzbekistan has the largest population of all the Central Asian nations. Known for its strict adherence to Islam, beautiful mosques and other sites linked to the ancient Silk Road trade route between China and the Mediterranean, Uzbekistan is strategically located.

Through CV’s support, our team are contributing to changing the history of this ancient nation, by bringing the message of the Gospel to people without this hope. We are seeing impact occur in the changed lives of people who are now full of hope, despite often being marginalised and penalised for their faith in Jesus. Our teams also provide a practical response to those who have been ostracised for their faith by helping them find work, accommodation, and fellowship through local church partners.
