Two projects in areas dominated by religious tensions and conflict have seen great ecumenical unity amongst more than 20 groups from different religious and denominational backgrounds, who had never cooperated closely before.

Through this project, thousands have come to Christ and have been trained as pastoral successors. Together they have developed successful peace-building and deradicalisation activities along with sustainable business enterprises as prejudicial barriers have been broken down. For example, a former general in an Islamist insurgency has now become a follower of Jesus. He has trained more than 20 of his former captains as successors. These former guerrillas who once survived by drugs and arms smuggling now share the good news of peace throughout their communities.
